National Physical Laboratory
NPL’s National Timing Centre (NTC) programme aims to create the UK’s first nationally distributed time infrastructure, reducing the country’s reliance on Global Navigation Satellite System for national time. To explain the critical importance of time to the UK’s infrastructure and their future plans, NPL partnered with Bloom In Motion.
To distil complex concepts into a simple and digestible format, our team produced a short animated film that adopted an illustrative style. This helped to effectively communicate the message of the need for a resilient time infrastructure, and the benefits it would bring to the UK.
Through close collaboration with NPL, our team produced an animation that highlighted the importance of reliable and accurate time for the national infrastructure. The final product effectively conveyed the concept of the NTC programme in an engaging and visually appealing way.
We are proud to have partnered with NPL once again and to have played a part in bringing this important programme to life in a way that can be easily understood by all.
